– That’s true, it’s that declaration. It shifts that. I preach a message and I
talk about casting our cares because, really, what is panic
and anxiety and worry and fear, whether it’s at a huge level,
we all have anxious thoughts. We all have sad thoughts. We all go through life
throwing things at us. But I think at that moment of just going, “Okay, I am just going to cast my cares.” What does that mean? It’s throwing it all on Him. I don’t think we were
designed to carry worry. I think sin has caused
us, because of that, but now Jesus has redeemed
us, he’s saved us, so we’re a new creation in Christ. So, now we’ve got to apply that and so we cast our cares. What does that mean? Yeah, it’s okay to cry. I think so many people don’t
think it’s okay to cry. I think they think it’s weak. – [Jamie] Men. (talking over each other) – [Natalie] I’m gonna cry right now. – I think about men who
don’t know how to cry but there are some girls that I’ve known that they don’t know. So, it’s to cry. It’s to appeal God, His Nature. It’s to remember His
Word and His miracles. It’s to enlarge Him
over your circumstances. And then the power of singing. I think those are those things. Throw our cares to Him. And He really does care for us and He will help us,
even if it’s that moment, we can overcome it.
– So good. – Okay, wait, say the acronym again. – [Unison] CARES. – It’s Cry out, Appeal to His
nature, Remember His miracles, Enlarge Him over your circumstances and Sing.
– [Mandisa] Oh I love that. – [Natalie] That’s so good. – Hi everybody, I hope
